Actual Spy is a very complete system monitoring and keystroke logging tool. Once you activate it, by default it will record all the keystrokes and activity of the system. The application can be hidden so that users don't know that it is active and a keyboard hotkey can be set to relaunch the application after it is hidden. You can additionally go to the start menu and launch it again, but you should get rid of the shortcuts in the start menu if you don't want to get caught. Actual Spy does a good job of hiding its process name in the task manager.
Actual Spy does a great job of detecting keys pressed on your keyboard and logging them. It also tells you what keys were pressed under which applications. The default log viewer shows all the characters typed during a recording session, including the enter key and spacebar, but you can hide those and only show text.
This logger can also record your Internet activity. The application can successfully detect what websites have been visited and the time of the visits.
Furthermore, I like the fact that Actual Spy will take screenshots of your screen and show what was going on at specific moments. By default, it does this every 5 minutes, but you can configure this.
You can also choose what types of activities to monitor under the "Report" tabs.
As a note of caution, I have to say that several virus checks I carried out showed that Actual Spy contained Spyware or trojan viruses. Most virus scans will detect this type of applications and prompt the user, so you might want to be careful.
